These Centres offer programs for children from JK to age 13. Full-time care may be available on P.A. days, school breaks, and during the summer. 

These programs are designed to:

  • Provide play experiences that enhance the development of the whole child
  • Encourage children to explore and discover their world in a safe, nurturing environment
  • Support a supportive environment where children can build confidence and skills for life
  • Create an inclusive environment where every child feels like they belong

Let’s Get Moving

Let’s Get Moving is a registered after-school program offered Monday to Friday, two hours after the bell each instructional day, throughout the school year at 14 school locations, with a focus on active living, personal health & wellness, and nutrition.

Program Information

Let’s Get Moving programs follow Ministry of Tourism, Culture & Sport After School Program Guidelines.

Program Start Date: September 6th 2022
Program End Date: June 23rd 2023
Cost: $20.00/month per child
Registration period: Ongoing

Notes:

  • Programs run following the school board schedule, thus they do not run during school closures, P.A Days, March Break, holiday breaks, or summer.
  • The program operates at a 1:15 ratio (staff to participants), thus does not provide one to one support.
