At BGC Hamilton-Halton, we’re very fortunate to have impacted the lives of countless children and youth in our community for many years.
In memoriam donations are meaningful ways for families and friends to honour their loved ones that have passed away. Contributions have been made to the Club to help ensure their legacies and passions are shared with youth for generations to come.
Below are wonderful individuals that had connections to the Club whose families and friends made contributions in their memory and honour.
George Bereziuk
George spent countless hours with BGC Hamilton-Halton (Hamilton East Kiwanis Boys & Girls Club). A graduate of Delta Highschool, George began his career in sales at Stelco in 1970. This marked the beginning of his successful career in the steel industry, from which he retired in late 2020. George lived his life with conviction, respect and deep love for his family and friends. He shared his love of sport and recreation with his children. Ron Black, Owner and Executive Vice-President of American Iron and Metal, established a scholarship program in George’s honour as a legacy donation to BGC Hamilton-Halton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent in George’s name to BGC Hamilton-Halton. To donate in George’s memory, please call 905-549-2814.

Lucas Ulbinas
Lucas was involved with BGC Hamilton-Halton as a youth and it continued into adulthood. He was an avid adventurer and enjoyed being active, particularly outdoors. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asked for donations to be made to the “Lucas Ulbinas Memorial Fund” through the Club in support of mental health and wellness through physical activity outdoors. His passion for health and wellness outdoors will carry on through the youth at the Club for many years. To donate to Lucas’ Memorial Fund, please click here.
