Women’s Space

Participants in this program will discuss topics on mental health & wellness, resources in Hamilton, employment, and family dynamics.  Spaces limited.  Must be a permanent resident or government assisted refugee.
Female Newcomers 18+
Wednesdays, 5-6pm

Newcomer Parent & Child Cooking

This program is designed for newcomer parents 18+ and their children to cook together and learn new recipes.  Through cooking, parents and children will have a time to bond over cooking while meeting other newcomer families in Hamilton.  Spaces are limited. Must be a permanent resident or government assisted refugee.

Newcomer Women's Fitness

In partnership with the Hamilton Fitness Community, join Kat as she leads you through a series of fun workouts that focus on empowerment and self-esteem building! Spaces are limited. Must be a permanent resident or government assisted refugee.
Female Identifying 18+
Mondays, 4:15-5:15pm

Delish Us Dishes

This program focuses on healthy food choices for seniors. Participants will learn new recipes, connect with new friends, and learn some really great tips for cooking. Groceries are provided. Spaces are limited.
Adults 55+

Adult Day Program

The Adult Day Program is an integrated program for older adults living in the community supported by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. The program is designed to improve the quality of life and well-being to help participants discover, build, and reaffirm their skills and independence through social, recreational, and therapeutic activities in a safe and supportive environment.

  • Assistance with activities of daily living

A space for social gathering and recreational programs for older adults ages 55+, located at the McQuesten Club “St. Helen’s Community Centre”. Activities include bingo, euchre, fitness, social outings & so much more!

Adult AquaFit

​​Adult AquaFit is designed for non-swimmers and swimmers alike. This is a challenging full-body workout with little to no impact on joints. Participants will work on stretching and flexibility, cardio, strength, and core exercises in each class. 

60 minutes/class
Cost: $30.00 + hst/10 lessons

*Located at the BGC Hamilton-Halton Kiwanis Club (45 Ellis Ave.). Register on-site.
